Authentic Costume

The first step to take in getting an authentic costume is to look at the styles ofthe era

Look at original prints, pictures and sources we suggest a target date of 1810.

Look at sleeves, necklines, gathering versus pleat, number of layers and then pick a style that suits you. We do not however reccommend trains if you are dancing.
